History
Ultra-lightweight and strong Argex® aggregates have been hugely successful lightweight construction materials for over 60 years with millions of cubic meters of lightweight concrete produced globally. Made from Expanded Clay at 1100c, Argex® sands are extremely strong with a honeycomb structure that traps high air volume within the particles. Argex® pellets are used to create high performing lightweight Concrete. Argex® is inert and non-combustible. It is also a superb thermal and acoustic insulator.
